Handling and Administration of Medications
Health and social care staff often take on some responsibility for handling and administering medications. Without proper training, there is a risk of medication errors which could have severe negative effects on service users. Those working in care must know how to safely administer and store a range of medications.
Through our accredited training, learners are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to carry out their roles effectively. Our courses are carefully mapped to relevant standards including the Care Certificate, the National Occupational Standards for Health and Social Care, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). First Response Training is a Skills for Care endorsed training provider.
