Level 1 Award in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

The Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Awareness Level 1 course is designed to help healthcare support workers and adult social care workers understand the principles of equality and diversity, and how to promote inclusion and reduce discrimination in their roles. The aim of the course is to provide learners with a basic understanding of the concepts of equality and diversity, and how they can be applied in the workplace to ensure that all individuals receiving care and support are treated fairly and respectfully.

The course covers topics such as different types of discrimination, unconscious bias, cultural awareness, and the importance of promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
